SENATE RESOLUTION

WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate are saddened to learn of the death of Laura Hensley Manns, who passed away on January 24, 2016; and

WHEREAS, Laura Hensley Manns was born on October 3, 1937 in Alton; her parents were Harry Edward and Grace Evelyn (nee Gleason) Gauf; she married Harold K. "Cackle" Hensley, who preceded her in death in 1976; she later married Franklin L. "Lloyd" Manns; and

WHEREAS, Laura Hensley Manns was preceded in death by her first husband, Harold; her second husband, Franklin; and her son, Timothy A. Hensley; and

WHEREAS, Laura Hensley Manns is survived by her daughter, Shirley (Bryan) Richardson; her sons, Anthony S. (Amy) Hensley and Joseph (Tammy) Hensley; her stepson, Wayne A. Hensley; her grandchildren, Brianna Ferguson, Bryan Richardson, Faith Richardson, Hope Richardson, Joy (Andrew) Elliott, Josh Hensley, Cameron Hensley, Gabriel Hensley, Cody Lewis, Nikkole M. Hensley, Alexander S. Hensley, Rachel F. Hensley, Rogan C. Hensley, Brian Hensley, Todd Hensley, and Eric Hensley; her great-grandchildren, Camarlianna Hensley, Macaiah Hensley, and Oliver Hensley; and her sister and brother-in-law, Linda and Harry; therefore, be it

RESOLVED, BY THE SENATE OF THE NINETY-NINTH GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we, along with her family and friends, mourn the passing of Laura Hensley Manns; and be it further

RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be presented to the family of Laura Hensley Manns as an expression of our sympathy.
