SENATE RESOLUTION

 
2    WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate are saddened to
3learn of the death of Anne D. Bartlett of North Chicago, who
4passed away on January 15, 2016; and
 
5    WHEREAS, Anne Bartlett was born in Waukegan to Victor and
6Josephine Wachowiak on April 20, 1925; she attended Holy Rosary
7Grade School and graduated from Waukegan Township High School
8in 1943; she married Lloyd Bartlett at Holy Rosary Church in
9North Chicago on October 4, 1947; and
 
10    WHEREAS, Anne Bartlett was a devoted mother and wife, who
11loved to bake her homemade jelly star cookies and her special
12sauerkraut for holidays, family, and church luncheons at Queen
13of Peace Church; and
 
14    WHEREAS, Anne Bartlett was a past member of the St.
15Elizabeth Club and the Holy Rosary Mother's Club; and
 
16    WHEREAS, Anne Bartlett was preceded in death by her
17husband, Lloyd; her parents; her 3 brothers and 2 sisters; her
18son-in-law, Peter Palyok; and her infant great-grandchild,
19Michael Anthony; and
 
20    WHEREAS, Anne Bartlett is survived by her 6 children, Jo

1Anne Palyok, David L. Bartlett, Carol B. Mitchell, Richard L.
2Bartlett, Mary (Thomas) Kraynik, and Barbara (Jason) Branning;
3her 9 grandchildren, Kimberly (John) Bettasso, Dwight (Tarra)
4Palyok, Jennifer Bartlett, Sara (Nathan) Knoepfle, Kristen
5(Troy) Wells, Joshua Kraynik, Aimee (Collin) Ruthe, Bradley
6Branning, and Mathew Branning; her 6 great-grandchildren,
7Isobel, Lauren, Madison, Mya, Judah, Willow, and one on the
8way; her brother-in-law, Frank (Mariann) Bartlett; and several
9nieces and nephews; therefore, be it
 
10    RESOLVED, BY THE SENATE OF THE NINETY-NINTH GENERAL
11ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we mourn the passing of
12Anne D. Bartlett, and extend our sincere condolences to her
13family, friends, and all who knew and loved her; and be it
14further
 
15    RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be
16presented to the family of Anne Bartlett as an expression of
17our deepest sympathy.
