SENATE RESOLUTION

WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate are saddened to learn of the death of Paul C. Abbott, who passed away at the age of 92; and

WHEREAS, Paul Abbott served as a pilot in the United States Navy from 1942 to 1945; and

WHEREAS, Paul Abbott was the devoted husband for 62 years of the late Rose Abbott; the loving father of Patricia A. (Denny) Kortkamp, P. Waz (Amanda) Abbott, Susan M. Boundy, and Elizabeth R. Weiss; and the cherished grandfather of Katherine (Shane) Conklin and Travis (Danielle) Boundy; he is also survived by his former son-in-law, Edwin (Caroline) Boundy; his special friends, Terry and Barbara King; and his caregiver, Marc Aguja; therefore, be it

RESOLVED, BY THE SENATE OF THE NINETY-NINTH GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we, along with his family and friends, mourn the passing of Paul C. Abbott; and be it further

RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be presented to the family of Paul Abbott as an expression of our sympathy.
