SENATE RESOLUTION

 
2    WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate are saddened to
3learn of the death of Sharlene Fay Bruhn of Gillespie, who
4passed away on December 24, 2015; and
 
5    WHEREAS, Sharlene Bruhn was born on September 15, 1935 in
6Wyandotte, Michigan; her parents were Louis H. Long and Dorothy
7Keisel Long Danay; she married William C. Bruhn in Larado,
8Texas; and
 
9    WHEREAS, Sharlene Bruhn was a Certified Nurse Assistant for
10St. Francis Hospital in Litchfield for many years; and
 
11    WHEREAS, Sharlene Bruhn was a life member of the Veterans
12of Foreign Wars Post 4547 Ladies Auxiliary; and
 
13    WHEREAS, Sharlene Bruhn was preceded in death by her
14parents; her husband, William; and her brother, Ronald "Joe"
15Long; and
 
16    WHEREAS, Sharlene Bruhn is survived by her sons, Curt
17(Nyla) Bruhn, Michael Bruhn, and William J. (Vickie) Bruhn,
18Sr.; her grandchildren, Matthew Bruhn, Ryan Bruhn, Seth Bruhn,
19William J. Bruhn, Jr, Rachel Bruhn, Jennifer Adams, Kevin
20Archibald, and Lena Archibald; her 10 great-grandchildren; her

1siblings, Melba Fogelman Bangert, Cindy Saracco, and Gilbert
2Wilde; therefore, be it
 
3    RESOLVED, BY THE SENATE OF THE NINETY-NINTH GENERAL
4ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we, along with her
5family and friends, mourn the passing of Sharlene Fay Bruhn;
6and be it further
 
7    RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be
8presented to the family of Sharlene Bruhn as an expression of
9our sympathy.
