SENATE RESOLUTION

WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate are saddened to learn of the death of Dorothy Juncer of Waukegan, who passed away on December 26, 2015; and

WHEREAS, Dorothy Juncer was born on May 1, 1927 in Mishawaka, Indiana; she moved to Waukegan as a child and attended North Grammar School and graduated from Waukegan High School in 1945; she married Frank Juncer on June 28, 1947; and

WHEREAS, Dorothy Juncer worked for Illinois Bell, the Chicago Hardware Foundry, and Ammco Tools, where she retired in 1989; and

WHEREAS, Dorothy Juncer was involved in St. Anastasia Church and their volunteer activities; and

WHEREAS, Dorothy Juncer was preceded in death by her parents, Ralph and Adele Wilson, and her husband, Frank Juncer; and

WHEREAS, Dorothy Juncer is survived by her son, Kenneth (Nancy); her brother-in-law, John (Florence); her sisters-in-law, Rita and Millie; her cousins, Ken Segerdahl and Martha McIntosh; and her many nieces and nephews; therefore, be it

RESOLVED, BY THE SENATE OF THE NINETY-NINTH GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we, along with her family and friends, mourn the passing of Dorothy Juncer; and be it further

RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be presented to the family of Dorothy Juncer as an expression of our sympathy.
