SENATE RESOLUTION

WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate are saddened to learn of the death of John J. "Johnny Mac" McIntyre, Jr.; and

WHEREAS, John McIntyre, Jr. was retired from the Chicago Police Department (CPD); and

WHEREAS, John McIntyre, Jr. was the loving father of Tracy, Christine, Melissa, and Margaret (Chad) Reynolds; the proud grandfather of Vincenzo, Christopher, Irelynne, Mia, and Kyla; the beloved friend of Carol Clock and her daughter, Danielle (Chris) Wendel; the devoted son of the late John and Mary Helen (nee Mahoney) McIntyre; the dear brother of Mary Ellen Smith, Loretta (Bob) Keehnast, Rosemary (Marty) Sloan, Thomas of the Chicago Police Department (Mary), and James (Carolyn) International Brotherhood of Electrical Workers; and the cherished uncle, cousin, and friend of many; therefore, be it

RESOLVED, BY THE SENATE OF THE NINETY-NINTH GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we mourn the passing of John J. "Johnny Mac" McIntyre, Jr., and extend our sincere condolences to his family, friends, and all who knew and loved him; and be it further

RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be presented to the family of John McIntyre, Jr. as an expression of our deepest sympathy.
