SENATE RESOLUTION

 
2    WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate are saddened to
3learn of the death of Ruby M. Ferro of Joliet, who passed away
4on October 30, 2015; and
 
5    WHEREAS, Ruby Ferro was born on August 24, 1928 to Maurice
6and Ruby (nee Gray) Culo; she graduated from Joliet Township
7High School, and, before her marriage, she worked at the
8Gerlach-Barklow Calendar Company in Joliet; and
 
9    WHEREAS, Ruby Ferro loved doing crafts and made many
10memorable items for her family throughout the years; and
 
11    WHEREAS, Ruby Ferro was preceded in death by her parents;
12her sisters, Elaine (Bob) Ehrsam and Betty (Don) Hadala; and
13her brothers and sisters-in-law, Rolle and Lena Kurth, Tony and
14Rosella Ferro, and Leno and Rosie Giacomi; and
 
15    WHEREAS, Ruby Ferro is survived by her husband of 66 years,
16Peter A. Ferro; their 3 sons, Peter (Sharon), John (Rebecca),
17and Jim (Ann) Ferro; her 8 grandchildren, Nicholas (Missy)
18Ferro, Danielle (Jeff) Weiss, Allison (Matt) Marketti, Monica
19(Ned) Grabavoy, Vince Ferro, Doug (Angie) Ferro, Veronica
20Ferro, and Amanda Ferro; and her 11 great-grandchildren;
21therefore, be it

1    RESOLVED, BY THE SENATE OF THE NINETY-NINTH GENERAL
2ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we mourn the passing of
3Ruby M. Ferro, and extend our sincere condolences to her
4family, friends, and all who knew and loved her; and be it
5further
 
6    RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be
7presented to the family of Ruby Ferro as an expression of our
8deepest sympathy.
