SENATE RESOLUTION

WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate are saddened to learn of the death of Robert D. "Jabbo" Jablonski, who passed away on October 17, 2015; and

WHEREAS, Robert Jablonski was born on March 18, 1943 in Waukegan; he was a resident of North Chicago and Waukegan his entire life; he was a graduate of Holy Family School and North Chicago High School; and

WHEREAS, Robert Jablonski served his country as a member of the United States Marine Corps; and

WHEREAS, Robert Jablonski was an employee of Drake Concrete and a member of the Carpenters Union; and

WHEREAS, Robert Jablonski was an avid fisherman; he was a member of the Knollwood Sportsman's Club, where he served on the board numerous times and enjoyed taking care of the grounds and planting flowers; and

WHEREAS, Robert Jablonski is survived by his loving wife of 39 years, Marilyn Jablonski; his children, Lisa (Steve) Delaney, Suzanne Jablonski, and Robert (Megan) Jablonski; his grandchildren, Jazmine, Dylan, Connor, Hope, Lucas, and Leah; and his brothers, Richard and LeRoy Jablonski; therefore, be it

RESOLVED, BY THE SENATE OF THE NINETY-NINTH GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we, along with his family and friends, mourn the passing of Robert D. "Jabbo" Jablonski; and be it further

RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be presented to the family of Robert Jablonski as an expression of our sympathy.
