SENATE RESOLUTION

WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate are saddened to learn of the death of Andy Maul of rural Jacksonville, who passed away on September 11, 2015; and

WHEREAS, Andy Maul was born on September 25, 1978 in Jacksonville; his parents were Russell L. Maul and Debora K. Sturdy Maul; and

WHEREAS, Andy Maul graduated from Jacksonville High School in 1996 and from Western Illinois University in 2000; he was an active member of the AGR Fraternity during college; and

WHEREAS, Andy Maul had a passion for ATV racing and pursued his interest by owning and operating Maul Tech ATV in rural Jacksonville; he was also a partner with his father in Maul Farms; and

WHEREAS, Andy Maul was a member of Literberry Christian Church in Literberry; and

WHEREAS, Andy Maul enjoyed spending time with his daughters and trips to the family's cabin in Canada; and

WHEREAS, Andy Maul was preceded in death by his grandparents, John and Mary Maul; and

WHEREAS, Andy Maul is survived by his father, Russell (Beth) Maul; his mother, Debbie Bartz; his daughters, Halle and Chloe Maul; his siblings, Errol (Ashley) Maul, Jennifer (Clint) Fanning, and Jason (Griselda) Dean; his grandparents, Elinor Swain and Robert and Sandra McCollom; his special friend, Sheila Watkins; and his many nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, and cousins; therefore, be it

RESOLVED, BY THE SENATE OF THE NINETY-NINTH GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we, along with his family and friends, mourn the passing of Andy Maul; and be it further

RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be presented to the family of Andy Maul as an expression of our sympathy.
