SENATE RESOLUTION

WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate are saddened to learn of the death of Janet Lynn Washburn of Gurnee, who passed away on July 14, 2015; and

WHEREAS, Janet Washburn was born on March 3, 1947 in Mt. Vernon; her parents were Deward and Jean (nee Church) Kerley; she married Kenneth J. Washburn on October 5, 1963 at Immaculate Conception Catholic Church in Waukegan; and

WHEREAS, Janet Washburn was preceded in death by her parents and her sister, Beverly Riddle; and

WHEREAS, Janet Washburn is survived by her loving husband of 51 years, Kenneth; her children, Todd (Penny) Washburn and Kelli (Mike) Cairo; her grandchildren, Kyle Washburn, Josh Washburn, Adam Cairo, Sean Cairo, and Ty Cairo; her sister, Murt (Robert) Fugett; her brothers-in-law, Bill (Barb) Washburn and Tom (Shirley) Washburn; her sisters-in-law, Louanne (Jerry) Mateja, Kathy (Dave) Ferri, and Anne (Terry) Drennan; and her many nieces and nephews; therefore, be it

RESOLVED, BY THE SENATE OF THE NINETY-NINTH GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we, along with her family and friends, mourn the passing of Janet Lynn Washburn; and be it further

RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be presented to the family of Janet Washburn as an expression of our sympathy.
