SENATE RESOLUTION

WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate are saddened to learn of the death of Esther M. Kallal, who passed away on September 8, 2015; and

WHEREAS, Esther Kallal was born on September 8, 1943 in Alton; her parents were Ralph and Ruth (nee McCauley) St. Peters; she married Robert "Bobby" J. Kallal on September 19, 1964 at St. Dennis Catholic Church in Shipman; and

WHEREAS, Esther Kallal was a homemaker by trade; she was a member of Holy Ghost Catholic Church in Jerseyville; and

WHEREAS, Esther Kallal enjoyed helping her in-laws with their strawberry fields, spending time with her family and friends, and watching hummingbirds; and

WHEREAS, Esther Kallal was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Robert; and her brother, John Donald "Donnie" St. Peters; and

WHEREAS, Esther Kallal is survived by her sons and a daughter-in-law, Brian Kallal and Mariann Crane and Ed and Carrie Kallal; her grandchildren, Billy Kallal, Shay Kallal, Sean Kallal, Jordan Kallal, and Skylar (Krista) Kallal; her great-grandchildren, Brooke and Logan; her brothers, William "Bill" St. Peters and Francis "Gene" St. Peters; and her many nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends; therefore, be it

RESOLVED, BY THE SENATE OF THE NINETY-NINTH GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we, along with her family and friends, mourn the passing of Esther M. Kallal; and be it further

RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be presented to the family of Esther Kallal as an expression of our sympathy.
