SENATE RESOLUTION

WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate are saddened to learn of the death of Helen Ernell Clouden, who passed away on September 18, 2015; and

WHEREAS, Helen Clouden was born on August 16, 1911 in Springfield; her parents were George Oliver and Eva E. Stewart; and

WHEREAS, Helen Clouden retired from Sears after many years of service; and

WHEREAS, Helen Clouden was a faithful member of Fellowship Missionary Baptist Church under the pastorate of Rev. Dr. Clay Evans; she also participated in the choir, served as a Sunday school teacher, and helped out in any way she could; and

WHEREAS, Helen Clouden was preceded in death by her parents; her 3 sisters; her 3 brothers; her husband, Leonard Hubbard, Sr.; and her daughter, Amanda Anderson; and

WHEREAS, Helen Clouden is survived by her son, Leonard Hubbard, Jr.; her nephews, William Davis, Jr. and James Davis; her niece, Fado Lumpkin; her grandsons, Leonard (Tilma) Hubbard, III, Henry Porter, Anthony "Tony" (Deanne) Hubbard, and Richard Porter; her granddaughters, Sandra Renfro Sims, Cynthia M. Newman, Scotia J. Porter, Jenifer J. Porter, Lolita E. Porter, Rhoda Lomelino, Terrie (Anthony) Hammons, and Rhonda Hubbard; her 17 great-grandchildren; her 43 great-great-grandchildren; her 15 great-great-great-grandchildren; and her many cousins and friends; therefore, be it

RESOLVED, BY THE SENATE OF THE NINETY-NINTH GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we, along with her family and friends, mourn the passing of Helen Ernell Clouden; and be it further

RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be presented to the family of Helen Clouden as an expression of our sympathy.
