SYNOPSIS AS INTRODUCED:

25 ILCS 120/2.1

Amends the Compensation Review Act. Provides that no amendment or change made to this Act on or after October 30, 2009 shall be construed to reconstitute the former Compensation Review Board unless the same shall be expressly set forth therein. Makes clarification changes concerning the effective date of certain provisions.

A BILL FOR

AN ACT concerning State government.

Be it enacted by the People of the State of Illinois, represented in the General Assembly:

Section 5. The Compensation Review Act is amended by changing Section 2.1 as follows:

(25 ILCS 120/2.1)

Sec. 2.1. "Set by Compensation Review Board"; meaning. If salary or compensation is provided by law as set by the Compensation Review Board, then that means the salary or compensation in effect on October 30, 2009 (the effective date of Public Act 96-800) this amendatory Act of the 96th General Assembly or as otherwise provided in this Act. No amendment or change made to this Act on or after October 30, 2009 shall be construed to reconstitute the former Compensation Review Board unless the same shall be expressly set forth therein.
