730 ILCS 110/10

Amends the Probation and Probation Officers Act. Makes a technical change in a Section concerning an oath for probation officers.

A BILL FOR

AN ACT concerning criminal law.

Be it enacted by the People of the State of Illinois, represented in the General Assembly:

Section 5. The Probation and Probation Officers Act is amended by changing Section 10 as follows:

(730 ILCS 110/10) (from Ch. 38, par. 204-2)

Sec. 10. Before entering upon the the duties of his or her office, each probation officer shall take and subscribe to an oath before the Chief Judge of his or her circuit or his or her designee to support the constitution and laws of the United States and of the State of Illinois, and faithfully to perform the duties of his or her office.
