1 HOUSE RESOLUTION

2     WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois House of
3 Representatives wish to congratulate Laurie Glass on being
4 named the Illinois High School Association Illinois Girls Golf
5 Coach of the Year; and

6     WHEREAS, Laurie Glass has been at Metropolis Elementary
7 School for 12 years; she is currently a reading aide for all
8 ages; and

9     WHEREAS, Laurie Glass was an assistant girls track coach
10 for 3 years before becoming the girls' golf coach; and

11     WHEREAS, Laurie Glass's team made a serious run at the
12 championship, finishing in 2nd place; therefore, be it

13     RESOLVED, BY THE HOUSE OF REPRESENTATIVES OF THE
14 NINETY-NINTH GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we
15 congratulate Laurie Glass on being named the Illinois High
16 School Association Illinois Girls Golf Coach of the Year and we
17 wish her many more successful years; and be it further

18     RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be
19 presented to Laurie Glass as an expression of our esteem and
20 respect.
