HOUSE RESOLUTION

WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois House of Representatives wish to congratulate the owners of Duraclean International, Inc. on the occasion of the organization's 85th anniversary; and

WHEREAS, Duraclean was founded as the Home Service Company in Racine, Wisconsin in 1930; the company was moved to Deerfield in 1938; in 1998, the business was bought out and moved to Arlington Heights the following year; and

WHEREAS, From its beginnings as a carpet and upholstery cleaning company, Duraclean has expanded its services to over 10 major surfaces, including water and smoke restoration, mold remediation, crime and death scene clean-up, and ventilation duct cleaning, among others; the company has 290 franchises in 29 U.S. states and 8 countries; and

WHEREAS, Duraclean has helped countless people and businesses in the aftermath of every major recent disaster in the United States, including the recent winter storm damage in the Northeastern states and many tornadoes, hurricanes, and floods; and

WHEREAS, Duraclean serves as a model of civic virtue by providing this vital service to the people of this State, our nation, and the world at large; therefore, be it

RESOLVED, BY THE HOUSE OF REPRESENTATIVES OF THE NINETY-NINTH GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we congratulate the owners of Duraclean International on the occasion of the organization's 85th anniversary and wish them continued success in the future; and be it further

RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be delivered to Vincent J. Caffarello, President of Duraclean International, Inc., as a symbol of our esteem and respect.
