HOUSE RESOLUTION

WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois House of Representatives are saddened to learn of the death of Grace Michelle Oliver, who passed away on July 21, 2015; and

WHEREAS, Grace Oliver studied at St. Louis University and was an alumna of Loyola Academy; and

WHEREAS, Grace Oliver was destined to become a teacher, and although was never officially in a classroom, she taught everyone around her how to live life to its fullest; and

WHEREAS, Grace Oliver enjoyed traveling the world, reality television, Saint Louis University basketball, the Chicago Blackhawks, and babies (humans and animals alike); and

WHEREAS, Grace Oliver was the loving daughter of Michael and Mary (nee Cavanaugh); the cherished and spirited sister of Molly and Claire; the dear granddaughter of Alois and Dorothy Oliver and Maureen and the late Richard Cavanaugh; the eccentric and fun cousin and niece of many; and the devoted "mother" to her Aussie-Doodle, Louise; she is also survived by the love of her life, Michael Daday; therefore, be it

RESOLVED, BY THE HOUSE OF REPRESENTATIVES OF THE NINETY-NINTH GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we mourn the passing of Grace Michelle Oliver, and extend our sincere condolences to her family, friends, and all who knew and loved her; and be it further

RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be presented to the family of Grace Oliver as an expression of our deepest sympathy.
