HOUSE RESOLUTION

WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois House of Representatives are saddened to learn of the death of Aparicishell Ann Mosley; and

WHEREAS, Aparicishell Mosley was born on September 9, 1957 in Chicago; her parents were Eunice Mosley and Thomas Mcullogh; she accepted Christ into her life and was baptized at an early age; she married Hector Delgado, Sr. on August 29, 1997; and

WHEREAS, After graduating from James Wadsworth Elementary School, Aparicishell Mosley continued her education at Tilden High School; she later attended Columbia College Chicago to study art and creative writing; and

WHEREAS, Aparicishell Mosley was employed as a cook at Mount Sinai Hospital and worked at Pierre's Catering, where she proudly displayed her exemplary culinary skills; she also worked at the Chicago Park District; and

WHEREAS, Aparicishell Mosley had a deep passion for the arts; at a very young age, she took an interest in drawing and arts and crafts; her most recent interests included the appreciation of nature and photography; she also won numerous awards for many of her drawings and art displays; and

WHEREAS, Aparicishell Mosley was preceded in death by her loving grandmother, Charity Vining; and

WHEREAS, Aparicishell Mosley is survived by her mother, Eunice Serrano; her husband, Hector, Sr.; 2 daughters, Eunice (Richard) Evans and Alicia (Dante) Sawyer; a son, Hector Delgado, Jr.; a brother, Michael (Dawn); 4 sisters, Melissa (LaValle), Madeline (Nicholas), Montoya, and Michelle (Arrid); 6 grandchildren, Jasmine, David, Daniel, Jalen, Payton, and Jordyn; 2 great-grandchildren, Journey and Aris; an uncle; 2 aunts; and many cousins, nieces, nephews, and friends; therefore, be it

RESOLVED, BY THE HOUSE OF REPRESENTATIVES OF THE NINETY-NINTH GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we, along with her family and friends, mourn the passing of Aparicishell Ann Mosley; and be it further

RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be presented to the family of Aparicishell Mosley as an expression of our sympathy.
