1 HOUSE RESOLUTION

2     WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois House of
3 Representatives wish to congratulate Patrick R. Yost on the
4 occasion of his retirement as Chief of Police of the Wauconda
5 Police Department; and

6     WHEREAS, Chief Yost served in the United States Army from
7 May of 1984 through March of 1987; and

8     WHEREAS, After his service, Chief Yost worked as a
9 dispatcher for both the Gurnee and Grayslake dispatch centers;
10 and

11     WHEREAS, Chief Yost joined the Wauconda Police Department
12 on July 9, 1989; and

13     WHEREAS, Chief Yost served in various roles with the
14 Wauconda Police Department, including patrol officer, field
15 training officer, juvenile officer, detective, Sergeant,
16 Detective Sergeant, Deputy Chief, and finally as Chief of
17 Police; and

18     WHEREAS, Chief Yost's retirement will be official on
19 September 4, 2015; therefore, be it

1     RESOLVED, BY THE HOUSE OF REPRESENTATIVES OF THE
2 NINETY-NINTH GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we
3 congratulate Patrick R. Yost on his retirement as Chief of
4 Police of the Wauconda Police Department, and we wish him the
5 best in all his future endeavors; and be it further

6     RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be
7 presented to Chief Yost as an expression of our esteem and
8 respect.
