HOUSE RESOLUTION

WHEREAS, Noble "Andy" Stubblefield is retiring after 38 years of work as a dispatcher, first as a volunteer at the LeRoy Communications Center and then at the McLean County Sheriff's Department and Metcom in Bloomington; and

WHEREAS, Andy Stubblefield has supported emergency services in central Illinois in a variety of capacities, including as a former EMT-B, photographer, radio operator, EOC radio operator for civil defense, and communications officer; and

WHEREAS, Andy Stubblefield was an original member of the McLean County ESDA Maintenance Group, now the McLean County Emergency Management Agency Operations team; and

WHEREAS, Andy Stubblefield goes above and beyond by volunteering his time as a Disaster Volunteer for the American Red Cross of the Heartland and in numerous other leadership roles as board member, treasurer, and secretary of emergency services groups and associations; and

WHEREAS, Andy Stubblefield is the owner and operator of Central Illinois Communications Consultant, sharing his knowledge and expertise with other agencies and departments; and

WHEREAS, Andy Stubblefield is a Master Mason and a lifetime member of Bloomington Lodge 43; he is also a member of the McLean County Shrine Club; and

WHEREAS, Andy Stubblefield plans to continue to stay active and involved in ensuring safety and preparedness in the McLean County area and the State of Illinois; and

WHEREAS, Andy Stubblefield has been married to Paula Stubblefield for 32 years; together, they have a deep love for their animal family members; therefore, be it

RESOLVED, BY THE HOUSE OF REPRESENTATIVES OF THE NINETY-NINTH GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we congratulate Noble "Andy" Stubblefield on the occasion of his retirement and wish him continued success and happiness in the future; and be it further

RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be presented to Andy Stubblefield as a symbol of our esteem and respect.
