1 HOUSE RESOLUTION

2     WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois House of
3 Representatives wish to congratulate Richard Rotz on the
4 occasion of his retirement as Hickory Point Township Clerk; and

5     WHEREAS, Richard Rotz was first elected as a Trustee for
6 Hickory Point Township 53 years ago; he has served as the
7 township clerk for the past 24 years; and

8     WHEREAS, As township clerk, Richard Rotz maintained the
9 official records and paperwork as the township went about its
10 many duties; and

11     WHEREAS, Richard Rotz loved his job as township clerk and
12 interacting with those whom he met during the course of his
13 duties; and

14     WHEREAS, Richard Rotz stepped down from his position as
15 Hickory Point Township Clerk in December of 2014; therefore, be
16 it

17     RESOLVED, BY THE HOUSE OF REPRESENTATIVES OF THE
18 NINETY-NINTH GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we
19 congratulate Richard Rotz on his retirement as Hickory Point
20 Township Clerk and wish him the best in all his future

2     RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be
3 presented to Richard Rotz as an expression of our esteem and
4 respect.
