HOUSE RESOLUTION

WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois House of Representatives wish to congratulate the Wellness House in Hinsdale on the occasion of its 25th anniversary; and

WHEREAS, Through support groups, exercise and nutrition classes, counseling and more, Wellness House offers the strength, community, and confidence that cancer can take away; and

WHEREAS, Wellness House believes in living a fulfilling life with cancer and is dedicated to offering programs and developing partnerships across more communities to reach more people where they live and work; and

WHEREAS, Wellness House envisions a community where all people affected by cancer thrive; offered at no cost, and as a complement to medical treatment, the programs educate, support, and empower participants so they will improve their physical and emotional well-being; therefore, be it

RESOLVED, BY THE HOUSE OF REPRESENTATIVES OF THE NINETY-NINTH GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we congratulate the Wellness House on its 25th anniversary and we wish them many more wonderful years; and be it further

RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be presented to the Wellness House as an expression of our esteem and respect.
