HOUSE RESOLUTION

WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois House of Representatives wish to congratulate Bob Howard on the occasion of his retirement from the Elmhurst Park District Board of Park Commissioners; and

WHEREAS, Bob Howard was first elected to the Elmhurst Park District Board of Commissioners in 2009 and served for 6 years until his retirement on April 22, 2015; and

WHEREAS, During Bob Howard's tenure as a Park Commissioner, he served on numerous Board committees and on the Sugar Creek Golf Course Board; and

WHEREAS, Bob Howard was instrumental in helping the Elmhurst Park District in promoting and attaining several initiatives that saw the park district grow and receive both State and national recognition for its operations and sustainability; and

WHEREAS, Bob Howard has given countless hours to the park district and recreation movement in Elmhurst and the State; therefore, be it

RESOLVED, BY THE HOUSE OF REPRESENTATIVES OF THE NINETY-NINTH GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we congratulate Bob Howard on his retirement from the Elmhurst Park District Board of Park Commissioners and wish him the best in all his future endeavors; and be it further

RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be presented to Bob Howard as an expression of our esteem and respect.
