HOUSE RESOLUTION

WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois House of Representatives are pleased to congratulate Marguerite Lorenzini Lieb on the occasion of her 90th birthday; and

WHEREAS, Marguerite Lieb was born in Chicago on March 29, 1925; she was raised on the West Side of Chicago and graduated from Providence St. Mel School; and

WHEREAS, Marguerite Lieb was married to Frank, a World War II United States Army veteran, for 50 years until his passing; they raised their family in Berkeley and had 3 children, Stephen (Billie), Barbara (Larry), and Frank (Betsy); and

WHEREAS, Marguerite Lieb was very independent and a self-sufficient working mom in the 1950s; she worked many years at State Farm Insurance; she retired to Wonder Lake, where she worked for many years at the Master Property Owners Association; and

WHEREAS, Marguerite Lieb is admired as a nonagenarian and as the family matriarch; she has been an outstanding example of practicing one's faith, never missing church on a Sunday morning unless due to illness; and

WHEREAS, Marguerite Lieb is grandmother to Stephen (Stephanie), Nicole, Chris (Faye), Carina (Patrick), Erik (Allison), Elisa, and Sarah and great-grandmother to Mackenzie, Connor, Devin, Alexis, Olivia, Dillon, Cody, Allison, and Luke; therefore, be it

RESOLVED, BY THE HOUSE OF REPRESENTATIVES OF THE NINETY-NINTH GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we congratulate Marguerite Lorenzini Lieb on her 90th birthday and wish her many more wonderful years; and be it further

RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be presented to Marguerite Lieb as an expression of our esteem and respect.
