1 HOUSE RESOLUTION

2     RESOLVED, BY THE HOUSE OF REPRESENTATIVES OF THE
3 NINETY-NINTH GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we
4 designate the portion of Roosevelt Road from Cicero Avenue to
5 Austin Avenue in Chicago as Muhammad Ali Road; and be it
6 further

7     RESOLVED, That the Illinois Department of Transportation
8 is requested to erect at suitable locations, consistent with
9 State and federal regulations, appropriate plaques or signs
10 giving notice of the name of Muhammad Ali Road; and be it
11 further

12     RESOLVED, That suitable copies of this resolution be
13 delivered to the Secretary of the Illinois Department of
14 Transportation and the family of Muhammad Ali.
