HOUSE RESOLUTION

WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois House of Representatives are saddened to learn of the death of James G. Moon, who passed away on May 18, 2016; and

WHEREAS, James Moon was born on October 19, 1948 in Macomb; his parents were Arden Lee and Marjorie L. Moon; he married Cindy McGaughey on August 8, 1970 at First Christian Church in Macomb; and

WHEREAS, James Moon worked at Roger Brothers Wholesale as an institution food salesman for 34 years; after the business closed, he worked for Kohl Wholesale in Quincy for 6 years until his retirement; and

WHEREAS, James Moon enjoyed hunting, fishing, being outdoors, and NASCAR; and

WHEREAS, James Moon was preceded in death by his parents and his brothers, Larry Moon, Gregg Moon, and Gary Moon; and

WHEREAS, James Moon is survived by his wife, Cindy; his sons, J. Christopher Moon (special friend, Angela Stufflebean), Joseph A. (Erin) Moon, and Jeffrey A. (Dana) Moon; his grandchildren, Madeline, Ellen, Devon, Kaitlyn, AJ, and Luke Moon; his brothers, Arden Lee (Cheryl) Moon II, Bill (Carol) Moon, and Scott (Angie) Moon; his sister, Linda Knowles; and several nieces and nephews; therefore, be it

RESOLVED, BY THE HOUSE OF REPRESENTATIVES OF THE NINETY-NINTH GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we, along with his family and friends, mourn the passing of James G. Moon; and be it further

RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be presented to the family of James Moon as an expression of our sympathy.
