HOUSE RESOLUTION

WHEREAS, Tyree Mack was born and raised in Canton and was raised by his grandparents, Darlene Mortimer and Michael Payne; and

WHEREAS, Tyree Mack is a senior in high school and will graduate in May of 2016; his activities, interests, and responsibilities at school include wrestling, basketball, cross country, music, musicals, and singing; and

WHEREAS, This year, Tyree Mack was awarded the distinction of "Mister Little Giant" after a talent and personality contest at his high school; and

WHEREAS, Tyree Mack's responsibilities at home include helping to care for his younger siblings and maintaining good grades; he currently maintains a job at Camino Real in Canton; and

WHEREAS, Most notably, Tyree Mack loves to help others; he has volunteered at the Salvation Army, the Renaissance Care Center, and the Helping Hands Resale Shop; and

WHEREAS, Tyree Mack's future dreams and aspirations involve going to college and earning a degree in child care, with a minor in music; he also seeks to eventually open a shelter or create an organization that helps the poor and the physically or mentally disabled; and

WHEREAS, According to his teachers and school administrators, Tyree Mack is an extremely positive person who is always friendly and polite and is exceptionally supportive of his peers; most everyone at school would in some way consider him to be his or her friend; always willing to try anything once, he exhibits strength in an outgoing personality despite being shy by nature; therefore, be it

RESOLVED, BY THE HOUSE OF REPRESENTATIVES OF THE NINETY-NINTH GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we congratulate Tyree Mack with this House Resolution for his outstanding accomplishments and unique character and wish him great success in his future endeavors; and be it further

RESOLVED, That we further congratulate Tyree Mack for being named as Canton High School's "Mister Little Giant"; and be it further

RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be presented to Tyree Mack as a symbol of our esteem and respect.
