Amends the Student Loans to Minors Act. Makes a technical change in a Section concerning student loans.

A BILL FOR

AN ACT concerning business.

Be it enacted by the People of the State of Illinois, represented in the General Assembly:

Section 5. The Student Loans to Minors Act is amended by changing Section 1 as follows:

(815 ILCS 155/1) (from Ch. 17, par. 6301)

Sec. 1. Any student who has been accepted for admission to an institution in the the State of Illinois approved by the State Superintendent of Public Instruction as an institution of higher education on either the undergraduate or graduate level shall be permitted to execute a legally binding promissory note for a loan necessary to attend or to continue in attendance at an institution of higher education, subject to approval by the institution of higher education attended.
