1    AN ACT concerning State government.
 
2    Be it enacted by the People of the State of Illinois,
3represented in the General Assembly:
 
4    Section 5. The Secretary of Human Services, on behalf of
5the State of Illinois, is authorized to execute and deliver to
6the City of Elgin, for and in consideration of $1 paid to the
7Department of Human Services, a quit claim deed to the
8following described real property:
9    That part of the southeast quarter of section 23, township
10    41 north, range 8, east of the third principal meridian,
11    described as follows: Beginning at the intersection of the
12    west line of said southeast quarter with the southerly
13    right of way line of U.S. Route 20; thence south 0 degrees
14    10 minutes 55 seconds west along the said west line, 797.77
15    feet; thence south 86 degrees 17 minutes 58 seconds east
16    564.55 feet; thence north 03 degrees 42 minutes 15 seconds
17    east 820 feet; (the last two courses being along lines
18    described in deed to City of Elgin document 2004K138389);
19    thence west along southerly right of way line of US Route
20    20 612.03 feet to the point of beginning, in the City of
21    Elgin, Kane County, Illinois.
 
22    Section 10. The conveyance of real property authorized by
23Section 5 shall be made subject to the express condition that,

1if the real property ceases to be used for public purposes, it
2shall revert to the State of Illinois, Department of Human
3Services.
 
4    Section 15. The Secretary of Human Services shall obtain a
5certified copy of the portions of this Act containing the
6title, the enacting clause, the effective date, the appropriate
7Section or Sections containing the land descriptions of the
8property to be conveyed, and this Section within 60 days after
9its effective date and, upon receipt of the payment required by
10the Section or Sections, if any payment is required, shall
11record the certified document in the Recorder's Office in the
12county in which the land is located.
 
13    Section 99. Effective date. This Act takes effect upon
14becoming law.
