SENATE RESOLUTION

WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate are saddened to learn of the death of Patricia A. Harney; and

WHEREAS, Patricia Harney worked as a customer service representative for the Bell Telephone Company for over 10 years; and

WHEREAS, Patricia Harney was admired as an excellent dancer and as a person with great style; she enjoyed playing card games, especially pinochle, playing board games with her grandchildren, particularly Chinese checkers, and traveling to many places throughout the country, including Naples, Florida, Las Vegas, Nevada, New York City, and Palm Springs, California; and

WHEREAS, Patricia Harney was the beloved wife of the late John T. "Jack" Harney; the loving mother of John, Terry Clancy, and the late Mark; and the proud grandmother of Paul, John, Luke, Maureen Quinn, Ambassador "Bass", Monty, Shanice, and Tommy; therefore, be it

RESOLVED, BY THE SENATE OF THE NINETY-EIGHTH GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we, along with her family and friends, mourn the passing of Patricia A. Harney; and be it further

RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be presented to the family of Patricia Harney as an expression of our sympathy.
