SENATE RESOLUTION

 
2    WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate are saddened to
3learn of the death of Virginia "Ginny" Gangloff Baahlmann, who
4passed away on November 1, 2013; and
 
5    WHEREAS, Virginia Baahlmann was born on April 10, 1930 in
6St. Louis, Missouri; her parents were Roy and Viola (Boice)
7Gangloff; she married Dr. Ralph Baahlmann, Sr. on June 14, 1952
8in Aviston; and
 
9    WHEREAS, Virginia Baahlmann enjoyed golfing and played for
10many years as a member of Lockhaven Country Club with her
11husband; she was an accomplished artist and painted many
12beautiful pictures; she also loved working in her garden,
13playing cards with her friends, and spending time with her
14family; and
 
15    WHEREAS, Virginia Baahlmann was preceded in death by her
16husband and her parents; and
 
17    WHEREAS, Virginia Baahlmann is survived by her children,
18Ralph H. Baahlmann, Jr., Mark G. Baahlmann, Barbara M. (Dr.
19Tobin) Boyd, Matthew L. (Teri) Baahlmann, Nancy E. (Tom) Reese,
20and John L. (Nancy) Baahlmann; her grandchildren, Matthew and
21Jill Baahlmann, Matthew (Kortney) Korte, Nick Korte, Megan and

1Christopher Springman, Grace and Jacob Reese, and Ashley
2(Anthony) Kaid; her great-grandchildren, Keagan Korte, Haylee
3Kaid, and Piper Springman; her half-sister, Karen Ingraham; and
4her half-brother, Jim Boice; therefore, be it
 
5    RESOLVED, BY THE SENATE OF THE NINETY-EIGHTH GENERAL
6ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we, along with her
7family and friends, mourn the passing of Virginia "Ginny"
8Gangloff Baahlmann; and be it further
 
9    RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be
10presented to the family of Virginia Baahlmann as an expression
11of our sympathy.
