SENATE RESOLUTION

WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate are saddened to learn of the death of Harry Michalski of Oak Park, who passed away on May 20, 2014; and

WHEREAS, Harry Michalski was born on July 5, 1926; and

WHEREAS, Harry Michalski served his country as a member of the United States Navy; and

WHEREAS, Harry Michalski was employed at Signode/ITW as a tool and die maker and computer systems analyst; and

WHEREAS, Harry Michalski is survived by his wife of 65 years, Pat; 6 children, Cathy, Jim (Gina), Larry (JoAnne), Cindy (Phil), Carole (Mike), and Tom (Lisa); 10 grandchildren, Jenny (Dan), Brian, Eric (Marissa), Patrick, Maura, Max, Kevin, Henry, Maddie, and Piper; a great-grandchild, Aviva; a brother; and many nieces, nephews, and cousins; therefore, be it

RESOLVED, BY THE SENATE OF THE NINETY-EIGHTH GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we, along with his family and friends, mourn the passing of Harry Michalski; and be it further

RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be presented to the family of Harry Michalski as an expression of our sympathy.
