SENATE RESOLUTION

WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate are saddened to learn of the death of Eunice Gloria Singfeldt of Oak Park, who passed away on June 16, 2014; and

WHEREAS, Eunice Singfeldt was born on November 10, 1922 to Knute and Hildur Singfeldt; she graduated from Wheaton College in 1944 with a bachelor's degree in education and received her master's degree in education from Northwestern University in 1956; and

WHEREAS, Eunice Singfeldt taught for 44 years in the Chicago Public Schools; and

WHEREAS, Eunice Singfeldt enjoyed traveling, visiting several European countries and 44 states, including Alaska and Hawaii; and

WHEREAS, Eunice Singfeldt was preceded in death by her parents; therefore, be it

RESOLVED, BY THE SENATE OF THE NINETY-EIGHTH GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we mourn the passing of Eunice Gloria Singfeldt, and extend our sincere condolences to her family, friends, and all who knew and loved her; and be it further

RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be presented to the family of Eunice Singfeldt as an expression of our deepest sympathy.
