HOUSE RESOLUTION

WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois House of Representatives are pleased to honor Natalie Insley on her life's achievements in volunteering to help those in need; and

WHEREAS, Natalie Insley has volunteered at York Township Senior Center since moving to Illinois in 1980; it became her second home and she spent 33 years helping those who came to the center; and

WHEREAS, Natalie Insley has been awarded numerous accolades for her volunteerism; she has received the Volunteer of the Year in Lombard, Senior of the Year in Lombard, the Ambassador Club Awards from the Dupage Senior Citizens Council, and recognition from the State of Illinois House of Representatives on her many years of service; and

WHEREAS, Natalie Insley is originally from New York City; she was born on February 18, 1913, and lived in there until moving to Illinois in 1980; she worked in New York as a dental assistant; and

WHEREAS, Natalie Insley married Preston on July 11, 1936, and was married for 53 years; she had a daughter, Janet (Will); she has 2 grandsons, Jonathan (Rebecca) and Jayson; and 3 great-grandchildren, Elizabeth, William, and Natalie; therefore, be it

RESOLVED, BY THE HOUSE OF REPRESENTATIVES OF THE NINETY-EIGHTH GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we honor Natalie Insley on her lifetime of volunteering to help others; and be it further

RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be presented to Natalie Insley as an expression of our esteem and respect.
