SENATE RESOLUTION

 
2    WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate are saddened to
3learn of the death of Ursula M. Berg of Park City, who passed
4away on July 25, 2010; and
 
5    WHEREAS, She was born on October 15, 1935 in Germany; she
6came to the United States in 1960; and
 
7    WHEREAS, She was a former employee of the Illinois Tollway,
8working as a toll collector; she was also a senior advocate for
9crime stoppers; and
 
10    WHEREAS, She was a supporter and volunteer for the
11Republican Party and enjoyed attending fundraisers, sewing,
12and other arts and crafts; and
 
13    WHEREAS, She was preceded in death by her former husband,
14Gerhard Berg; and her sister, Ruth Franke; and
 
15    WHEREAS, Ursula Berg is survived by her sons, Ralph Berg,
16Carl Berg, and Kurt (Michele) Berg; and her seven
17grandchildren; therefore, be it
 
18    RESOLVED, BY THE SENATE OF THE NINETY-SIXTH GENERAL
19ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we mourn, along with

1her family and friends, the passing of Ursula Berg; and be it
2further
 
3    RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be
4presented to the family of Ursula Berg as a symbol of our
5sincere sympathy.
