SENATE RESOLUTION

WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate are saddened to learn of the death of Mary Louise Schmitt of Vernon Hills, who passed away on May 7, 2010; and

WHEREAS, She was born October 16, 1944 in Aurora; and

WHEREAS, She was preceded in death by her parents, Alfred and Bernice Nelson; and her niece, Carey Streich; and

WHEREAS, Mary Louise Schmitt is survived by her sisters, Barbara Schmitt, Sherry (Bill) Wied, and Lois (Wallace) Streich; her brothers, Gerald (Ann) Schmitt and Stanley (Lucille) Nelson; she was a wonderful aunt to Jeffrey and Jim Streich, Darren, Bradley, and Suzanne Nelson, and David Wied; she will be missed by her friends at Shepard Chevrolet in Lake Bluff where she spent 31 years and her dear friends at Wal-Mart in Vernon Hills; therefore, be it

RESOLVED, BY THE SENATE OF THE NINETY-SIXTH GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we mourn, along with her family and friends, the passing of Mary Louise Schmitt; and be it further

RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be presented to the family of Mary Louise Schmitt as a symbol of our sincere sympathy.
