SENATE RESOLUTION

WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate are saddened to learn of the death of Arthur W. Halle of Wildwood, who passed away on March 6, 2010; and

WHEREAS, Arthur W. Halle was born December 16, 1924 in Greenwood, Wisconsin, and had lived in Wildwood since 1970; and

WHEREAS, He was a farmer in the Wauconda area for 25 years and later was employed by Olympic Packaging in Mundelein; he was a member of the Farm Bureau and Warren Township Senior Citizens; and

WHEREAS, He was preceded in death by his parents, Fred and Margaret Halle; by his brothers, Richard and Charles; and his sister, Alvina Carlson; and

WHEREAS, Arthur Halle is survived by his wife, Betty Halle; his four children, Judith (Rick) Palmer, Bonnie (Richard) Otis, Arthur (Rita) Halle, Jr., and Kathleen Marie Halle; his nine grandchildren and 13 great-grandchildren; his one great-great-grandchild; his brothers, Paul (Barbara) Halle, Herman (Barbara) Halle, and Martin Halle; and his sister, Mary Beckman; therefore, be it

RESOLVED, BY THE SENATE OF THE NINETY-SIXTH GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we mourn, along with his family and friends, the passing of Arthur W. Halle; and be it further

RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be presented to the family of Arthur Halle as a symbol of our sincere sympathy.
