SENATE RESOLUTION

WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate are saddened to learn of the death of Audrea Ann Uedell of Antioch, who passed away on February 3, 2010; and

WHEREAS, She was born December 6, 1915 in Chicago, the daughter of the late William and Susan (Horn) Hagerty, and moved to Antioch in 1955; and

WHEREAS, She had worked as a volunteer at the Antioch Thrift Shop, which supported Mental Health, for many years; and

WHEREAS, She loved music and to play the organ, reading, her African violets, dolls, stuffed animals, knick knacks, and her home; she was proud of her loving friends; on September 21, 1940 she married John H. Uedell in Edison Park; and

WHEREAS, She was preceded in death by her husband, John; her son, Steven; her three brothers, William, Paul, and Philip; and her sister, Margie; and

WHEREAS, Audrea Uedell is survived by her daughter, Susan (Gary) Crank; her grandchildren, Kimberly Crank Torcaso and Jaime (Tommy) Friel; and her great grandchildren Johnny, Sydney, and Ashley; therefore, be it

RESOLVED, BY THE SENATE OF THE NINETY-SIXTH GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we mourn, along with her family and friends, the passing of Audrea Uedell; and be it further

RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be presented to the family of Audrea Uedell as a symbol of our sincere sympathy.
