SENATE RESOLUTION

WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate are saddened to learn of the death of Brian Robert "Bubba" Willms of Kenosha, Wisconsin, who passed away on February 19, 2010; and

WHEREAS, He was born January 27, 1959 in Lake Forest, grew up in Waukegan, lived in Beach Park, and settled in Kenosha; formerly he was a member of Wesley Church in Waukegan and belonged to Baptist Tabernacle in Kenosha at the time of his passing; and

WHEREAS, Brian worked at Johnson Motors and for 30 years with Commonwealth Edison; he was a Union Steward for Local 15, International Brotherhood of Electrical Workers; and

WHEREAS, He was an avid Harley rider and a member of Kenosha HOG Chapter; he also enjoyed hunting, camping, bowling, golfing, target shooting, snowmobiling, 4-wheeling, skiing, and lived a full life of adventure; but most of all, Brian was a hard worker, dedicated Christian, selfless, and was loved by all; and

WHEREAS, He has joined his sister, Buffy Willms Brooks, in Glory; and

WHEREAS, Brian "Bubba" Willms is survived by his wife of 30 years, Lynne; his children, Heidi L. Willms and Chad Robert (fiancée, Kari Kammerzelt) Willms; his grandson, Clayton; his father and mother, Charles and Yvonne Willms; and his siblings, Dorman Willms, Robin (Dan) Ward, Kevin Willms, and Carla (Mike) Sayre; therefore, be it

RESOLVED, BY THE SENATE OF THE NINETY-SIXTH GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we mourn, along with his family and friends, the passing of Brian "Bubba" Willms; and be it further

RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be presented to the family of Brian Robert "Bubba" Willms as a symbol of our sincere sympathy.
