SENATE RESOLUTION

WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate are saddened to learn of the death of Jeffrey H. Steadman Sr. of Lombard, who recently passed away; and

WHEREAS, Jeffrey H. Steadman Sr. was the Executive Vice President of Renaissance Hospital Management, the former CEO of Suburban Hospital/Suburban Cook County Tuberculosis Sanitarium District, and the former Vice President of MacNeal Hospital; and

WHEREAS, He was a member of the Loretto Hospital Foundation and the Hospital Financial Management Association, and was a board member of Westside Insurance Company; and

WHEREAS, He was a graduate of Adelphi University and received a Master's degree from George Washington University; he loved aviation and the outdoors; and

WHEREAS, Jeffrey Steadman Sr. served on the Loretto Hospital Board of Trustees for 10 years with Illinois State Senator Kimberly A. Lightford and was considered a dear friend; and

WHEREAS, Jeffrey Steadman Sr. was the beloved husband of Linda, nee Stone; the loving father of Chris (fiancée Nikki) Buziecki, Jeffrey Jr. (Barbara) Steadman, Scott (Shannon) Buziecki, Charles, Alexander (Jennifer), Arthur, and Michael Steadman; the devoted son of Charles Steadman I and Muriel Steadman, nee Bowerman; the fond brother of Sheri Ryan; the brother-in-law of Michael (Cindy) and Robert (Karly) Stone; the son-in-law of Robert and Irene Stone; and an uncle to many nieces and nephews; therefore, be it

RESOLVED, BY THE SENATE OF THE NINETY-SIXTH GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we mourn, along with his family and friends, the passing of Jeffrey Steadman Sr.; and be it further

RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be presented to the family of Jeffrey Steadman Sr. as a symbol of our sincere sympathy.
