SENATE RESOLUTION

WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate are saddened to learn of the death of Mary Patricia Carroll, who passed away on December 15, 2009; and

WHEREAS, Mary Carroll was born on August 22, 1935; she married her beloved husband, Roger, on September 7, 1957; and

WHEREAS, Mary Carroll graduated from St. Bernard's School of Nursing and St. Xavier College; she retired from the Cook County Department of Health after many years of service; and

WHEREAS, Mary Carroll was the beloved mother of Mike, Tim, Colleen, Kelly, and Pattie, and the loving grandmother of Bevin, Sean, Nora, Quinn, Maeve, Nick, Aidan, Erin, Katelyn, and Courtney; therefore, be it

RESOLVED, BY THE SENATE OF THE NINETY-SIXTH GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we mourn, along with her family and friends, the passing of Mary Patricia Carroll; and be it further

RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be presented to the family of Mary Carroll as an expression of our sympathy.
