SENATE RESOLUTION

WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate are saddened to learn of the death of Walter E. Zetterman of Waukegan, who passed away on August 2, 2009; and

WHEREAS, He was born on March 13, 1946 in North Chicago; and

WHEREAS, He was a veteran of the United States Army and a member of the V.F.W.; and

WHEREAS, He retired from Stone Container in North Chicago after 35 years of service; and

WHEREAS, Walter Zetterman is survived by his wife of 31 years, Sharon; his son, Eric (Amanda); his step-children, Christine (Harry) Gooden and Joan Fernandez; his grandson, Andre Gooden; his sisters, Mary Zetterman and Agnes Hall; and his brother, James L. Zetterman; therefore, be it

RESOLVED, BY THE SENATE OF THE NINETY-SIXTH GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we mourn, along with his family and friends, the passing of Walter Zetterman; and be it further

RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be presented to the family of Walter Zetterman as a symbol of our sincere sympathy.
