SENATE RESOLUTION

 
2     WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate are saddened to
3 learn of the death of Culver Hampton Sr., who passed away on
4 November 5, 2009; and
 
5     WHEREAS, Culver Hampton Sr. was born on January 18, 1941,
6 in Chicago; he married Norma Lee Linton in 1959; and
 
7     WHEREAS, Culver Hampton Sr. was employed at Freund Can
8 Company for many years; he was scheduled to be promoted to the
9 position of foreman; and
 
10     WHEREAS, Culver Hampton Sr. was preceded in death by his
11 wife, Norma; and
 
12     WHEREAS, Culver Hampton Sr. is survived by his children,
13 Phyllis Baker (Charles), Constance Anderson (Brian), Donna
14 Smith (Lanyaird), Culver Hampton Jr., Marcus Hampton, and
15 Damione Hampton; his sister, Betty Hampton; his brother, Lonnie
16 Hampton; his 7 grandchildren; and his many nieces, nephews,
17 other relatives, and friends; therefore, be it
 
18     RESOLVED, BY THE SENATE OF THE NINETY-SIXTH GENERAL
19 ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we mourn, along with
20 his family and friends, the passing of Culver Hampton Sr.; and

2     RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be
3 presented to the family of Culver Hampton Sr. as an expression
4 of our sympathy.
