SENATE RESOLUTION

WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate are saddened to learn of the death of Bobbie Wanless of Pekin, who passed away on November 13, 2009; and

WHEREAS, Bobbie Wanless was born February 18, 1937, in Pekin to Vernard and Violet McKinney; he married Donna Nash on December 24, 1987, in Pekin; and

WHEREAS, He served in the United States Army in Germany for three years; and

WHEREAS, He retired from Cox Transfer in Eureka; and

WHEREAS, His parents preceded him in death; and

WHEREAS, Bobbie Wanless is survived by his wife, Donna; his children, Vicky Fischer, Mike (Lisa) Wanless, Denielle (Kyle) Pass, Kim (David) Pratt, Cheryl (Todd) Streuly, Kenna (Brad) Jones, and Otis (Anne) Blake; his twenty grandchildren; his nine great-grandchildren; his two sisters, Bernadine Brown and Mary Sims; and his brother, James McKinney; therefore, be it

RESOLVED, BY THE SENATE OF THE NINETY-SIXTH GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we mourn, along with his family and friends, the passing of Bobbie Wanless; and be it further

RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be presented to the family of Bobbie Wanless as a symbol of our sincere sympathy.
