SENATE RESOLUTION

WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate are saddened to learn of the death of Casimer J. Siwula of Wadsworth, who passed away on September 14, 2009; and

WHEREAS, He was born on September 11, 1923 in North Chicago; on July 16, 1949 in Waukegan, he married Eleanor Anderson; and

WHEREAS, He was a World War II United States Army veteran; and

WHEREAS, He was an avid Bears, White Sox, and Blackhawks fan; he was in the Carpenter's Union Local #250 and a life-long member of St. Patrick's Church in Wadsworth; and

WHEREAS, He was preceded in death by his parents, John and Julia (nee, Taddle) Siwula; his three brothers, Matt, Chester, and John Siwula; and his sister, Florence Siwula; and

WHEREAS, Casimer Siwula is survived by his loving wife of 60 years, Eleanor Siwula; his children, James (Eileen) Siwula, Joseph Siwula, Joyce Babitz, Randall (Julie) Siwula, Pamela (Robert) Kiesgen, and Casey Siwula; his eighteen grandchildren; his seven great grandchildren; and his many nieces and nephews; therefore, be it

RESOLVED, BY THE SENATE OF THE NINETY-SIXTH GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we mourn, along with his family and friends, the passing of Casimer Siwula; and be it further

RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be presented to the family of Casimer Siwula as a symbol of our sincere sympathy.
