SENATE RESOLUTION

WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate are saddened to learn of the death of Richard A. Walls of Gurnee, who passed away on August 4, 2009; and

WHEREAS, He was a retired Chief Petty Officer with the United States Navy; and

WHEREAS, He was the beloved husband of Martha; the loving father of David, Tracy (Becky), the late Scott, the late Mark, Deborah (James) Mound, and Jennifer (Michael) Slaney; the dear grandfather of Kelly, Brandon, Christopher, Michael, Mikayla, Amber, Lauren, Tyler, Mark, Jessica, Brennah, and Canden; and the proud great-grandfather of Benjamin, Madeline, Kaylyn, and Aden; therefore, be it

RESOLVED, BY THE SENATE OF THE NINETY-SIXTH GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we mourn, along with his family and friends, the passing of Richard Walls; and be it further

RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be presented to the family of Richard Walls as a symbol of our sincere sympathy.
