SENATE RESOLUTION

WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate are saddened to learn of the death of Ronald Charles Novak of Grayslake, who passed away on July 23, 2009; and

WHEREAS, He was born on March 7, 1934 in Chicago, to the late Stanley and Evelyn Novak (nee, Wieneke); and

WHEREAS, He was a lifelong member of the United Protestant Church in Grayslake, a member of American Legion Post #659, a member of the 101st Airborne Division, and a member of the International Association of Machinists and Aerospace Workers, Lodge 34; and

WHEREAS, He was the beloved husband of 54 years to Nancy (nee, Clemens); the loving father of David (Barbara) Novak, Dennis (Patty) Novak, and Brian (Terri) Novak; the cherished grandfather of Aimee, Katie, Kristina, Calen, and Melli; and the great-grandfather of Caleigh; and he was the dear brother of Patricia (Norm) Thibedeau and Nancy (David) McCurdy; therefore, be it

RESOLVED, BY THE SENATE OF THE NINETY-SIXTH GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we mourn, along with his family and friends, the passing of Ronald Novak; and be it further

RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be presented to the family of Ronald Novak as a symbol of our sincere sympathy.
