SENATE RESOLUTION

WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate are saddened to learn of the death of Kristen M. Kennedy of Chicago, formerly of Munster, Indiana, who passed away on September 11, 2009; and

WHEREAS, Kristen Kennedy was employed at David's Bridal in Chicago; and

WHEREAS, Kristen Kennedy was the beloved new bride of Raymond Kennedy; the loving daughter of Ronald and Mary Ann Evans; the best friend and sister of Jennifer Evans; the loving doggie mom of Haley; the devoted granddaughter of Valerie (the late James) O'Donnell and John (the late Shirley) Evans; the daughter-in-law of Raymond and Christine Kennedy; the sister-in-law of Julie and Patrick Schuljak; the aunt of Sean and Connor; the niece of Donald Evans, Pamela (Sterling) Eaton, James (the late Noreen) Coppolillo, Aunt Judy, Uncle John, and Uncle Rick; the godmother of Maddie; and the loving cousin and friend of many; and

WHEREAS, Kristen Kennedy's love of life and ability to live it to the fullest endeared her to her family members, friends, and all who knew her, and enabled her to enrich their lives in ways they will never forget; therefore, be it

RESOLVED, BY THE SENATE OF THE NINETY-SIXTH GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we mourn, along with her family and friends, the passing of Kristen M. Kennedy; and be it further

RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be presented to the family of Kristen Kennedy as an expression of our sympathy.
