SENATE RESOLUTION

WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate are saddened to learn of the death of Carl Anthony Zetterman Sr. of Waukegan, who passed away on January 10, 2009; and

WHEREAS, Carl Zetterman Sr. was born on June 13, 1943 in North Chicago; he was the son of the late Sigfried and Adele (Atkinson) Zetterman; and

WHEREAS, Carl Zetterman Sr. had many passions, including golf, cooking, the Chicago Bears, his horse, Chester, his cocker spaniels, Charlie, Fergie, and Murphy, and his last wife, the late Barbara Zetterman; and

WHEREAS, Carl Zetterman Sr. is survived by his siblings, Mary Zetterman, Agnes Hall, James Zetterman, and Walter Zetterman; his previous wives, Wanda Hardy (Crocker) and Deborah Vanstory (Thompson); his children and their spouses, Carol and Jeff Huston, Carl Zetterman II and Kathy Ramariz, Dorothy and Preston Camarata, and Adele and Danny Sheffield; his stepchildren, Rick Hinks and Kim Hinks; his 20 grandchildren; and his dear friends, Susan and Lance Groat; therefore, be it

RESOLVED, BY THE SENATE OF THE NINETY-SIXTH GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we mourn, along with his family and friends, the passing of Carl Anthony Zetterman Sr.; and be it further

RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be presented to the family of Carl Zetterman Sr. as an expression of our sympathy.
