SENATE RESOLUTION

WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate are saddened to learn of the death of Dale M. Morse of Elwood, who passed away April 20, 2009; and

WHEREAS, He was a member of the Joliet Moose; he was a retired volunteer fire fighter for Elwood and a Fire Department Trustee; and he served in the United States Navy; and

WHEREAS, He enjoyed snowmobiling and had a passion for all facets of trains, including model trains and train trips; and

WHEREAS, He was preceded in death by his parents, Marion and Evelyn Morse; his nephew, Danny Mahan; and his brother-in-law, James Mahan; and

WHEREAS, Dale M. Morse is survived by his loving wife of 54 years, Mary Ann (nee Grzenda); his dear daughter and devoted son-in-law, Marlene (Dan) Murphy; his cherished grandsons, Matthew and Kevin Murphy; his sister, Jeanne (James-deceased) Mahan; his nephews, James (Kathy) Mahan and Thomas (Neda) Mahan; his niece, Sharon (Brian) Luksic; his brothers-in-law, John Grzenda and Norbert Grzenda; his numerous great-nieces and nephews; his many loving cousins; and his devoted friends; therefore, be it

RESOLVED, BY THE SENATE OF THE NINETY-SIXTH GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we mourn, along with his family and friends, the passing of Dale M. Morse; and be it further

RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be presented to the family of Dale M. Morse as a symbol of our sincere sympathy.
